What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partners with Social Media team to ensure proper advertisement of recruitment opportunities.
- Serves as liaison between Operations and Recruiting for hiring pace and upcoming Recruiting Plans.
- Leads Montego Bay recruiting team to meet center hiring goals.
- Develops and executes strategic recruiting activities that promote the company to the labor market.
- Creates and implements tenure-focused recruitment methodologies to identify candidates with high retention potential.
- Establishes comprehensive screening processes evaluating skills, cultural alignment, and long-term potential.
- Analyzes historical hiring data to identify patterns and predictors of longer employee tenure.
- Designs and implement strategies to reduce first-year turnover rates and improve employee retention.
- Develops creative approaches to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Coordinates internal and external job fairs and maintains strategic community relationships.
- Make public presentations regarding the organization and opportunities.
- Works with external recruiters and employment agencies when directed.
- Utilizes online recruiting sources to identify trends and strategies in recruiting.
- Ensures proper maintenance of files and employment records for Human Resources.
- Ensures all hiring processes are legal and conducted in a lawful manner.
- Build strong relationships with site leadership and department heads.
- Provides consistent coaching to direct reports and sets clear performance goals.
- Delivers daily, weekly and monthly updates on key recruiting metrics.
- Revitalizes employee referral program with strategic incentives.
- Creates a seamless, engaging candidate journey from initial contact through onboarding.
- Establishes KPIs for recruitment effectiveness and regular reports on progress.
- Champions change and maintain flexibility in a dynamic environment.
Recruitment Strategy & Execution
- Build innovative talent pipelines through digital channels, community partnerships, and local networks.
- Coordinate and conduct engaging recruitment events, job fairs, and campus outreach programs.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Leverage data analytics to optimize recruitment processes and candidate quality.
- Monitor and analyze employee turnover metrics, identifying trends and implementing targeted initiatives to support future retention.
- Explore and implement new technologies and methods to enhance recruitment efficiency.
- Develop metrics and reporting systems to track recruitment performance and ROI.
- Stay current with emerging recruitment trends and best practices in BPO/call center industries.
- Identify opportunities and execute plans to promote the company as an employer of choice in Jamaica.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises Talent Acquisition Representatives.
- Partners and collaborates with Nearshore Operations and Human Resources as well as onshore leadership to support Etech talent acquisition standards.
- Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include oversight of phone interview; implementation of departmental processes; community involvement; directing training of employees; appraising performance; rewarding and discipling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Knowledge of labor market specifics within each geographic area where centers are located.
- Knowledge of media contacts to ensure ease of product delivery.
- Knowledge of civic organizations and the activities of community groups is preferred.
Ability to:
- Research internet, publications and libraries for current Call Center recruiting information.
- Develop and maintain relationship with peers across intra-company departments.
- Multi-task, organize and prioritize changing work schedule to meet needs of department.
- Meet schedules and time lines regarding hiring practices.
- Effectively communicate both orally and in written form to positively promote Etech.
- Public speaking.
- Travel for personal development or recruiting functions.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University; or related experience and/or training; or recruitment experience.
- Minimum 1 year leadership experience required, 2+ years preferred.
- Three years’ experience in recruiting and management preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, press releases and newspaper ads, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Valid driver’s license or other Government issued ID.
