What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand the software product and gather necessary information.
- Gain a strong grasp of every product feature and be able to explain it clearly.
- Write both technical and non-technical content for internal and external audiences.
- Prepare or assist in developing content for user manuals and online help documentation.
- Regularly revise documentation to reflect newly added product features.
- Draft consistent, concise, and easy-to-follow procedures in plain language.
- Write business proposals and other marketing collateral.
- Create content for articles, newsletters, blogs, and press releases.
- Support the creation of video tutorials to enhance customer understanding of the software.
What We Expect You To Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or in English, Professional Writing, or a related language field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in technical content writing.
- Proven ability to write user documentations, newsletters, articles, blogs, case studies, press releases, and marketing collateral.
- A technical background is preferred if the candidate holds a non-technical degree.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with frequent interaction with developers and technical personnel.
- Excellent command of English grammar and the ability to write user-friendly documentation.
- Familiarity with help authoring tools like Articulate & WordPress.
- Experience with screen capturing image and video editing tools.
- Proficiency in MS Word or OpenOffice.org.
