Its great sense of satisfaction while working for the community service initiatives. Team PB donated toiletry items to YWCA of Palm Beach. Etech PB HR Manager and Sales manager delivered the donated items to YWCA. Palm Beach center is proud to support such a worthy mission.
For the CSR activity, give back initiative, Etech Dallas center partnered with a local men’s youth organization, SMS Male leadership. This organization was started by a few Male Educators who realized the need for more positive influence in their communities and took the initiative to be that influence. The center provides counseling and life readiness skills, ensuring young men contribute to their communities. With the enthusiastic participation of the Dallas center TM’s and their outstanding efforts, we provided with casual and professional clothing, footwear, a few hats, and an assortment of toiletries. Thank you all the TM’s as we continue to work towards our communities.
Etech Dallas TM’s had an opportunity to visit The Bridge. The Bridge is a Homeless Recovery Center open to all adults experiencing homelessness. The Bridge offers basic needs services, including hot showers, nutritious meals, haircuts, and intensive physical and mental health evaluations and care management services for almost 500 guests daily and provides shelter for 300 Guests each night. Our representatives were in contact with Robert, one of the community engagement liaisons. Robert took them on a tour of the facility. All the collected water bottles, gloves, and socks were donated to The Bridge.
The Etech’s Dallas team hosted a book donation for Hope’s Door New Beginning Center. Hope’s Door New Beginning Centers’ mission offers intervention and prevention services to people affected by intimate partner and family violence and provide education programs that enhances the community’s capacity to respond. They have been in business for over 30 years. There are centers in Dallas, Garland, and Plano. To help further their goals, Etech Dallas TM’s collected 150 books to assist in providing resources to those in need.
In the spirit of kindness and love, Etech’s San Antonio center’s give back initiative, the San Antonio Center created custom made Valentine’s Day cards with motivational words for the children at the St. PJ’s children’s home. 14 Valentine’s Day Cards were donated. The cards were well received.
Etech Rusk center held a Giveback fundraiser by selling chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels made by Charlotte Rasmussen. The proceeds from this Giveback fundraiser were put towards purchasing much needed supplies for the Plyler Memorial Park adopted by Etech. The park is located on the Rusk square next to the Etech building and is described as a memorial park created by Jeannie Plyler to honor her late husband Dr. Charles Grady Plyler and other community members.
Etech San Antonio donated travel-sized hygiene products to be donated to the Victory Outreach Center in San Antonio. Items collected helped those in need to get back on their feet and was an excellent way for everyone to work together to give back to the community. 26 items were collected donated!
